Trauma Therapy

What Happened to You Still Lives in the Present
The memories surface when you least expect them.
A sound, a smell, a tone of voice, and suddenly your body is somewhere else.
You’ve worked hard to keep moving forward.
You’ve built a life around what happened.
And still, the past keeps reaching into your present. It shapes your relationships, your beliefs, and what your body feels safe enough to do.
These Aren’t Character Flaws
PTSD. Complex PTSD. Attachment wounds.
Childhood experiences of neglect, abuse, or loss.
Chronic stress that never quite let up.
These aren’t character flaws.
They’re what your system learned to keep you alive.
Healing Begins When You’re No Longer Alone in It
You don’t have to explain everything before we begin.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in emotional safety.
Healing starts when you feel seen, supported, and accompanied through what you’ve carried alone.
Your Pain Is Real. And It Makes Sense.
Together, we’ll process painful memories, ease overwhelming emotions, soften anxiety and hypervigilance, and reconnect you with a sense of self, stability, and trust.

How I Work with Trauma
I draw on two body-mind approaches especially suited to trauma: Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Lifespan Integration.
IFS works with the protective parts of you that took on the burden of what happened.
We listen to those parts, understand why they showed up, and help them release what’s no longer theirs to carry.
Lifespan Integration gently helps your body and mind recognize that the past is past.
It weaves fragmented memory into the timeline of who you are now.
Trauma Moves Through Families
I also hold a generational lens.
Trauma moves through families. It shapes relational patterns and inherited emotional weight long before the events of your own life.
In our work, you’ll build healthier attachment patterns, strengthen self-compassion, and develop tools for emotional regulation and grounding.
Reclaim Your Voice, Your Body, Your Life
What you’ve survived doesn’t have to define how you live now.
With this work, you’ll process your experiences with greater steadiness.
You’ll reclaim your voice.
Your days will hold more peace, authenticity, and emotional freedom.
You don’t have to walk this alone.
